Recently, Marketing Moves a firm has provided a one-day leave to employees on the loss of the Indian World Cup.

Recently, an employee Diksha Gupta shared a post on Linkedin and said, “It’s just not a loss it’s 1.4 Billion Heartbreaks. The disheartening day in the history of the World Cup was marked on 19th November 2023, when our Men in Blue couldn’t lift the World Cup Trophy.”

“Team India not only proved their virtue but gave the entire nation, a hope to bring the World Cup Trophy. Unfortunately, our dream of watching the Trophy come home shattered last night. The craze for this World Cup was hidden from none and the entire Internet was into the World Cup wave!”, the post added.

“Being associated with one of the renowned agencies, Marketing Moves, I was leading some of the major Brand Campaigns with my team for the World Cup 2023 and enjoyed every single day working with dedication, craze, and excitement. 20+ projects, 25+ days, and 90+ meetings look easy when it comes to the World Cup”, the post added.

The post further said, “I did not know where this energy came from but all I can say is that this was the World Cup Cricket Fever. It was tough for me and our team as well to cope with this loss after being entirely engrossed in the World Cup campaigns.”

“But here comes a twist! Today morning, I woke up with a message from my boss granting a one-day leave relaxation to everyone due to the impact of this loss. It was a surprise that none of us could believe until the official email arrived”, the post said.

“Well, this one-day relaxation is not just a morale booster, it’s an opportunity to recover from the loss, regain mental stability, and return to work with renewed energy and spirit. Thank you Chirag Alawadhi Boss for such a warm gesture”, the post concluded.
