EduSkills Foundation, in collaboration with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and supported by AWS Academy, has announced the launch of a Virtual Internship Program on Cloud Technology.
The initiative aims to create an industry-ready workforce equipped with in-demand cloud computing skills that align with the digital economy’s future needs.
The internship, open to students across India, will begin immediately and run for two months. While it is an unpaid program, participants will gain extensive exposure to AWS Cloud fundamentals, practical applications, and industry best practices through a structured learning framework.
Purpose
The program is designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry, enabling students to understand how modern enterprises leverage cloud solutions for scalability, innovation, and resilience.
Cloud technology has seen a dramatic surge in adoption since the pandemic, with organizations globally moving their operations online and seeking cloud professionals to manage the transition.
As a pioneer in the cloud domain, Amazon Web Services (AWS) plays a crucial role in empowering this transformation through its educational partnerships.
Who Can Join?
Students who successfully complete the program will receive certification from AWS Academy and EduSkills and become eligible for exclusive hiring opportunities with global corporations.
The internship welcomes applications from students of any discipline or specialization, provided they possess the enthusiasm and basic technical aptitude to learn cloud technologies.
How to Apply
Interested candidates can apply through the AICTE Internship portal.
Applications for the AWS Cloud Virtual Internship are open until October 31, 2025, with 10,000 openings available for this edition. The terms of engagement will follow EduSkills’ official guidelines.
This initiative marks another step toward fostering a digitally skilled generation, ready to lead India’s cloud-driven future.
