The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is inviting applications for its prestigious paid internship program at the Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL), Hyderabad.
DRDO has officially opened its doors to undergraduate and postgraduate students pursuing Engineering and Science programs.

About DRDL and the Internship Program
DRDL is a premier laboratory under DRDO, specializing in the research and development of advanced missile systems for the Indian Armed Forces.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be Indian nationals.
- Pursuing regular full-time courses from recognized universities/institutions.
- Final-year students of Undergraduate Engineering or Postgraduate programs in Engineering or Physical Sciences.
- Should have secured at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA throughout their academic career.
- Must be below 28 years of age as of the application deadline.
Shortlisting will be done based on marks obtained in qualifying degrees (average of completed semesters/years) and may also involve an interview or interaction round.

- Electronics, Embedded Systems, VLSI, Electrical Engineering – 58 vacancies
- Mechanical, Aerospace, Production, Chemical, Metallurgical, Ceramic, Safety Engineering – 75 vacancies
- Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Allied Areas – 24 vacancies
- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Allied Sciences – 8 vacancies
