Google Cloud, in collaboration with Smartbridge Educational Services Private Limited, has announced a virtual internship program in Generative AI. The initiative is designed to provide students across India with practical exposure to one of the most transformative technologies shaping the future of work and creativity.
About the Program
The internship centers on Google Cloud’s Generative AI course, offering participants an opportunity to explore advanced AI models capable of creating art, music, original text, and more.
Students will engage in hands-on labs and apply their learning through real-world applications, helping them build practical skills and innovative thinking.
The program emphasizes accessibility, welcoming both beginners and tech enthusiasts. By the end of the course, participants are expected to gain a strong foundation in applying generative AI to creative and problem-solving tasks.

- Stipend: Unpaid (₹0/month)

Students who complete the program will receive a Virtual Internship Completion Certificate along with free access to Google APAC membership, opening doors to further opportunities in the tech ecosystem.
Eligibility Criteria
The internship is open to candidates from any stream and specialization, provided they:
- Can commit to the full 2-month duration
- Possess relevant skills and interests in AI and technology
- Are current students enrolled in academic institutions
- Have access to a desktop or laptop for lab work
Applications are accepted only through AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), ensuring that the program reaches genuine student applicants across the country.

Participants will be required to:
- Attend live instructor-led training sessions
- Complete hands-on labs
- Follow structured learning modules and assignments
- Apply exclusively via the AICTE Internship portal
