Puch AI Launches Internship Program with ₹2 Lakh Stipend

Indian AI startup Puch AI has announced two remote internship opportunities with monthly stipends ranging from ₹1 lakh to ₹2 lakh.

What sets this offer apart is its radical inclusivity—no formal degree is required, and the internships are open to candidates as young as 10th-grade students.

The roles include:

Both positions are fully remote, allowing applicants from across India to participate without relocating or reporting to an office.

The initiative reflects Puch AI’s mission to democratize access to artificial intelligence and create opportunities based on skills and potential, not credentials.

A Skills-First Approach to Internships

Siddharth Bhatia, co-founder and CEO of Puch AI, emphasized the company’s commitment to hiring based on raw talent and drive.

“We hired a high schooler last month,” Siddharth posted on X (formerly Twitter), underscoring the firm’s openness to unconventional candidates.

Applicants are not required to submit resumes or academic transcripts.

Instead, they are asked to comment directly on Siddharth’s social media post, explaining:

Direct messages are explicitly discouraged, and the application process is designed to be interactive and informal, encouraging creativity and authenticity.

Referral Bonus and Hackathon Incentives

To further boost engagement, Puch AI has introduced a referral bonus. If a tagged candidate is hired, the person who referred them will receive an iPhone.

Only one tag is allowed per comment, making each referral a strategic choice.

Additionally, Puch AI is hosting a hackathon, where winners will be offered internships and the top 10 participants will receive direct interviews with the founders.

This initiative aims to identify high-potential talent through hands-on problem-solving rather than traditional screening methods.

Puch AI Founders and Vision

Puch AI was founded by Siddharth Bhatia, an alumnus of the National University of Singapore, and Arjit Jain, a graduate of IIT Bombay.

The startup is focused on making AI accessible to every Indian, regardless of language, education, or technical background.

Its flagship product is a WhatsApp-based AI bot that provides instant information and conversational assistance in Indic languages, positioning it as a tool for mass adoption.

Puch AI Internship: Industry Impact and Youth Empowerment

The internship announcement has sparked widespread interest, with hundreds of applicants flooding the comment sections of Siddharth’s posts.

Many are self-taught developers, students, and early-career professionals showcasing their skills in areas like machine learning, full-stack development, and growth marketing.

This move reflects a growing trend among Indian startups to prioritize skill-first hiring, especially in tech roles.

By opening doors to school students and non-degree holders, Puch AI is not only expanding its talent pool but also empowering youth to pursue careers in AI without traditional barriers.
