How TCS is helping its employees combat the second wave of Covid-19

TCS announces Covid Care Services for employees, their dependents

India’s largest, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced an array of Covid-19 care services and benefits for its employees and their dependents to ensure their wellbeing.

The company said, “some of these benefits include, paid quarantine leave, 24×7 TCS Covid-19 helpdesk to seek any assistance required, 24×7 TCS Medical Hotline to reach doctors and TCS Cares services for counselling,”

TCS said in a statement that the Health and wellbeing of our employees continue to be the primary focus for us and we have enabled these benefits and services for all associates and eligible dependents during the Covid-19 pandemic.

In order to extend COVID Care facilities, TCS has set up Covid Care Centers across 11 cities in India, and in many cities, arrangements have been made with hotels that have hospital tie-ups.

According to the media reports, The company has provided Health Insurance facilities that are available for TCS associates and their families; while emergency medical financial assistance is also available for them.

TCS spokesperson also said, “we are organizing Covid-19 testing camps in our offices to facilitate early detection to enable speedy treatment. And we would source vaccine doses directly from suppliers.”

“On employees vaccination front, the company initiated vaccination drives for all eligible associates and their dependents, both at our offices and through our hospital tie-ups across locations.” the spokesperson added.

Taking into cognizance, the recent government directives for 18 years + age group, we are working to further expand our in-campus vaccination drives in partnership with healthcare providers and suppliers,” the spokesperson said.
