Infosys invites applications from experienced professionals for lateral hiring

India’s second-largest IT services company, Infosys invites online applications from experienced professionals for various positions across India and overseas.

Nandan Nilekani, Chairman, Infosys had said the IT major has continued to strengthen its talent pool by recruiting 19,230 graduates in India and 1,941 outside the country to serve its clients” burgeoning demand for digital acceleration.

Speaking at the company’s 40th annual general meeting, Nilekani noted that Infosys is well-positioned for another year of “market-leading performance” in a post-pandemic, cloud-first digital era.

The company invites applications for close to 1000 positions from experienced professions. These positions are based in Bangalore, Pune, Mangalore, Coimbatore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Noida, etc.

The major job roles for IT professionals that have opened in Infosys are Senior Test Manager, Technical Test Lead, Specialist Programmer-Java Microservices, ALM Consultant, etc. Click here to apply and more details.

Recently, the company’s Chief Operating Officer Pravin Rao also said that Infosys plans to hire 35,000 college graduates for FY22 globally. “As the demand for digital talent explodes, rising attrition in the industry poses a near-term challenge. We plan to meet this demand by expanding our hiring program of college graduates for FY 22 to 35,000 globally,” he said.

Currently, the company has a total headcount of 2.67 lakh employees till June 30, 2021.

India’s largest IT service provider, TCS will hire more than 40,000 freshers from campuses in FY22. The company has over 5 lakh employees, had hired 40,000 graduates from campuses last year also.

Infosys Limited will announce its September quarter earnings on October 13, the company said in a filing to the exchanges.
