Lenskart to hire over 2000 employees across India by next year

Lenskart, a leading e-commerce portal for eyewear in India plans to hire over 2000 employees across India by 2022, as part of its expansion plan to increase its consumer base, the company said in a statement.

The company has been aggressively hiring across verticals especially the tech and data science team, roping in data scientists, business analysts, data engineers, and experts, It said.

Lenskart is looking to add 1500 more retail employees to manage their rapidly increasing stores, 100+ engineers to the technology team across Bengaluru, NCR, and Hyderabad.

The company said that over 300 employees join the supply chain & manufacturing operations, 100 to the corporate functions across finance, consumer insights, HR, and merchandising.

Additionally, the company is also looking for team expansion in Singapore, Middle East, and the USA by adding 300 more employees.

“We have continued to grow exponentially, in international markets as well as in India, and we are building a strong presence in regional markets as well through our stores and e-commerce. This has opened up several job opportunities across Lenskart to serve and delight our customers at a huge scale. So, hiring is a key aspect in our growth journey and we are looking at actively hiring skilled talent across verticals for regions like Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi among others.” said Peyush Bansal, Founder, and CEO, Lenskart

Incorporated on 19 May 2008, Lenskart, is an Indian optician prescription eyewear retail chain company, based in New Delhi, India. Its operating revenues range is over INR 500 cr for the financial year ending on 31 March 2020.
