Wipro Announced 2,260 New Early Career Job Opportunities, Apply

Wipro, an IT giant announced a major hiring drive with 2,260 positions for fresh graduates and early-career professionals last week, from December 14 to 19, 2024.

These roles span several key programs to support new talent and build strong career foundations.

Wipro Summer Internship Experience (WiSE) Program

The WiSE program offers business school students in India the chance to gain practical experience through challenging projects and real-world business scenarios.

This two-month internship helps participants build skills while contributing to important initiatives.

High-performing interns may be invited to join Wipro full-time after their internship.

Wipro Integrated Learning Program (WILP)

WILP is designed for BCA and B.Sc. graduates who want to advance their careers while continuing their education.

Since 1995, this program has allowed participants to work in professional roles while earning a fully-sponsored M.Tech degree.

It combines work experience with academic development, creating a balanced path for growth.

Turbo: Engineering Talent Program

Turbo targets top engineering graduates from institutions like IIITs, NITs, and select private colleges across India.

This program provides hands-on experience with advanced technologies and includes opportunities for certifications and work on high-impact projects.

Turbo offers competitive starting salaries and career advancement opportunities.

Elite Program for Engineers

The Elite program is an online hiring platform focused on exceptional engineering talent. It caters to B.E./B.Tech graduates as well as those with M.E./M.Tech or M.Sc Integrated degrees.

Wipro Q2 FY25 Results and Hiring Trends

The company achieved a net profit of ₹3,209 crore, marking a 21% increase compared to the same period last year.

In the second quarter of fiscal year 2025, Wipro’s total workforce reached 233,889 employees, marking an increase of 978 from the previous quarter.

Additionally, Wipro’s voluntary attrition rate rose to 14.5% on a trailing 12-month basis, up from 14.1% in the first quarter.

Wipro plans to hire approximately 3,000 new graduates each quarter and approximately 10,000 to 12,000 people in fiscal year 2025, including both on-campus and off-campus recruitment.
