EY promotes 43 partners and hired 14 new partners in financial year 2021

EY member firms in India announce 43 promotions to partnership across all service lines in the India region. This is the largest number of promotes across all senior ranks compared to prior years.

Additionally, 14 new Partners were hired in FY21 across the business, the company said in statement.

According to a statement, This expanded leadership across service lines and sectors will help accelerate the firm’s growth agenda both in emerging areas of technology and data, business transformation and value creation, and entire suite of transactions, as also in traditional competencies of risk, tax, assurance, strategy, and transactions.

Commenting on development Rajiv Memani, Chairman-India Region, EY said, “Our success is made possible by these dynamic leaders who have created tremendous impact in the market, delivered high-quality service to clients, and mentored and nurtured their teams,”

Globally, EY announced 831 Partner promotions this year. Of the 1800+ senior-level promotions, 30% promotes are based in the emerging markets and 36% of promotes are women, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to diversity.
