Seema Bangia quits Mahindra Group as VP & Chief People Officer

Seema Bangia has resigned from Mahindra Group as Vice President & Chief People Officer of Aero & Defence division, Mahindra & Mahindra.

Seema’s journey with the Mahindra Group spans over a decade, showcasing her dedication and expertise in human resources. Starting in June 2012 as Head of HR, she steadily climbed the ranks, assuming diverse leadership roles within the HR domain.

Seema brings a wealth of experience to her role as a senior HR leader, with a remarkable career spanning over three decades across various industries.

Prior to her tenure with Mahindra Group, she held significant positions in renowned organizations such as Carlsberg India, ZTE Telecom, Canon India, Keane Inc., Lucent Technologies, Motorola Information Systems, Arthur Andersen, and Nestle India.

This diverse background underscores her versatility and deep understanding of human resources management in different contexts, contributing immensely to her leadership capabilities.

She has successfully aligned the people and business agendas, enabling growth, innovation, and excellence across the sector. Seema has also applied her HR consulting and technical recruiting expertise to attract, retain, and develop talent for the sector’s current and future needs.

She is a certified coach and a human behavior specialist with a passion for developing and empowering people at all levels. Seema has leveraged her coaching and negotiation skills to foster a culture of collaboration, trust, and performance among the employees, the leadership, and the board of directors.

Seema Bangia graduated from Delhi University in Economics and Business Studies and holds a master’s degree in Human Resource Management from First Business School, Chicago, USA.
