Shaveta Wadhera joins Accenture as Managing Director Consulting

Former CDO of Hero Motor Company Shaveta Wadhera joins Accenture as Managing Director Consulting.

In the new role, she will be responsible for technology consulting focusing on industrial sector (Industry X.0) initiatives for the India Market unit.

Shaveta will be based out of Gurugram and report to Manish Gupta, Managing Director and India Business Head – Consumer-Centric Industries, Accenture.

Before joining Accenture, Shaveta has been associated with Hero Motors Company as Chief Digital Officer for 2 years.

Shaveta has more than 18 years of extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, including a long stint at GE. Prior to Hero, she was the Chief Information Officer at GE-India Rail joint venture, and before that she held various positions at GE including IT & Telecom Strategic Source Lead at GE.

She also served as the AVP, Strategic Projects at Max New York Life Insurance. Earlier, Shaveta led the GE Global Development Center program across multiple geographies including India. 

Shaveta holds a postgraduate diploma in IT from the National Institute of Industrial Engineering and Bachelors in Engineering from Punjab Technical University.
