On July 9, 2024, Deloitte announced a multi-year strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enhance client capabilities in Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI), data analytics, and quantum computing.

Leveraging AWS services like Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Q, and Amazon Braket, Deloitte and AWS will establish an Innovation Lab. This lab will work as a hub for exploring cutting-edge technologies such as artificial general intelligence (AGI), quantum machine learning (ML), and autonomous robotics.

The collaboration focuses on helping joint clients innovate and address industry-specific challenges using Generative AI’s potential.

Deloitte’s IndustryAdvantage™ initiative, backed by a $2 billion investment, underscores its commitment to co-innovate with eligible clients and alliances. This initiative aims to develop tailored solutions that leverage advanced technologies and drive business transformation.

Moreover, Deloitte and AWS will provide funding to support clients in transitioning successful proofs of concept (POCs) into production. This strategic alignment aims to empower organizations globally to scale their capabilities and stay at the forefront of technological innovation.

The collaboration represents a significant step forward in integrating advanced AI and quantum computing capabilities into practical applications, positioning both Deloitte and AWS as leaders in driving future-focused solutions across industries.

The Innovation Lab established by Deloitte and AWS will facilitate collaborative efforts in developing industry-specific solutions across a diverse range of sectors. This includes financial services, government and public sector, life sciences and health care, media and telecommunications, consumer industries, and energy, resources, and industrials.

Building on their existing partnership, Deloitte and AWS will leverage Generative AI to enhance customer experiences. Examples include TrueServe™, an AI-integrated contact center technology, and Converge™ by Deloitte offerings like BankingSuite for modernizing financial systems and ConvergeSECURITY to bolster cloud security with AI capabilities.

Deloitte’s C-Suite AI™ for CFOs represents a pioneering effort in leveraging large language models (LLMs) to transform enterprise operations. This tool streamlines financial functions across planning, operations, reporting, and investor relations.

Powered by NVIDIA and utilizing Amazon Bedrock, it enables the creation of custom LLMs, simplifies contract workflows, generates investor documentation, and automates customer service, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

Meanwhile, Toyota Motors North America (TMNA) has partnered with AWS to harness machine learning and decision intelligence services.

This collaboration aims to enrich their data ecosystem, enabling innovations like dynamic pricing and parts forecasting. Kamal Distell, VP of Data and Data Science at TMNA, highlights how these advancements drive business value and enhance service delivery capabilities for the future.
