Labour Minister’s Urgent Directive on Job Incentive Scheme

Union Labour Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya has taken proactive steps to expedite the implementation of the Employment-Linked Incentive (ELI) Scheme, which was announced in the Union Budget.

The ELI Scheme aims to create over two crore jobs in India within a span of two years.

Dr. Mansukh has instructed officers to carry out outreach and awareness campaigns. These campaigns will educate potential beneficiaries about the ELI Scheme as well as advantages.

By disseminating information effectively, the government aims to encourage participation and uptake. According to the Union Budget 2024-25, the ELI scheme aims to create over two crore jobs.
