Zoho Corporation, the global technology company headquartered in Chennai, India, has announced deep AI integrations within its Customer Experience (CX) platform and the launch of Ulaa Enterprise, a secure, enterprise-ready browser tailored to modern workplaces.

These developments aim to remove technological barriers in CRM adoption while enhancing security and compliance for businesses that rely on cloud-based tools.

The AI integrations, powered by Zoho’s in-house AI engine, Zia, promise to make work orchestration and CRM usage more intuitive.

Zoho Enhancing the AI-Powered CX Platform

The CX platform upgrade focuses on democratizing CRM access across business teams.

Traditionally, only a limited group of employees had access to customer data stored in CRM systems.

Now, with CRM for Everyone, Zoho is ensuring that employees from sales, marketing, onboarding, finance, and legal can leverage CRM insights effectively.

Key AI-powered enhancements include:

  • Ask Zia for Report Creation: Users can generate reports instantly using text prompts, visualizing the build process in real time.
  • Custom Module Creation: A no-code tool that allows users to modify CRM modules, change field types, and configure permissions using plain language.
  • Agentic Workflows: Zia now acts as an autonomous assistant, helping users set up custom workflows through simple prompts.
  • Image-to-Design Capability: Image to Canvas allows users to transform visuals into interactive CRM records, offering a seamless no-code design studio experience.
  • Connected Records & Workflows: Automatically links work across team modules, ensuring smooth collaboration throughout the customer journey.

Introducing Ulaa Enterprise: A Secure Business Browser

Zoho has launched Ulaa Enterprise, a privacy-first business browser built to mitigate security risks in SaaS-driven workplaces.

As businesses increasingly rely on cloud tools, browsers have become major vulnerabilities in cybersecurity.

Key features of Ulaa Enterprise include:

  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP): Blocks sensitive data leaks during uploads, copy-paste, or downloads.
  • Granular Policy Controls: Allows admins to define access settings, manage extensions, and govern user behavior centrally.
  • Real-Time Phishing Detection: Zia’s ZeroPhish technology proactively warns users before they click on fraudulent links.
  • AI-Driven Tab Organization: Improves productivity by automatically grouping browser tabs based on user behavior.
  • Compliance for Regulated Sectors: Ensures financial services (BFSI) and government organizations can enforce precise security policies.

Ulaa Enterprise simplifies IT management by eliminating the need for complex virtualization while allowing fast deployment and centralized security oversight.

Built on Chromium, it supports Android and iOS devices, making it ideal for hybrid workforces.

Zoho CEO’s Vision and Market Impact

Mani Vembu, CEO of Zoho, emphasized the company’s commitment to simplifying workplace tools.

He stated, “The browser has become the largest attack surface inside an organization, yet no software vendor has been able to strike the right balance between security and usability.”

Mani added, “Ulaa Enterprise ensures proactive security measures without compromising functionality.”

Since its launch in 2023, Ulaa has seen a 2.5X increase in downloads and active users globally, winning the Indian Web Browser Development Challenge held by MeitY.

Pricing and Availability

  • CRM for Everyone: Available globally, with team user licenses starting at ₹400 per year for Zoho CRM paid editions.
  • Ulaa Enterprise: Priced at ₹40 per device per month or ₹365 per year, with a three-month free trial for businesses.
