The CEO of OpenAI Sam Altman said AI has the potential to drastically change society but also has real dangers.

Sam Altman also believes that AI chatbots could “eliminate a lot of current jobs” but also has the potential to be “the greatest technology humanity has yet developed” to improve our lives

Sam Altman has also suggested that one should be cautious but also open-minded about the potential benefits of AI. By doing so, everyone can ensure that AI is developed in a way that benefits society as a whole.

“We’ve got to be careful here. I think people should be delighted that we are a little bit terrified of this,” he said. “I’m particularly worried that these models could be used for large-scale disinformation. Now that they’re getting better at writing computer code, [they] could be used for offensive cyberattacks,” he said.

The OpenAI CEO said, “The AI tool is in human control, he can’t be sure of the humans who will be controlling it. There will be other people who don’t put some of the safety limits that we put on.”

Reports also suggest that the OpenAI chatbot responded with a list of jobs that it could potentially replace:

  • Data Entry Clerk
  • Customer Service Representative
  • Proofreader
  • Paralegal
  • Bookkeeper
  • Translator
  • Copywriter
  • Market Research Analyst
  • Social Media Manager
  • Appointment Scheduler
  • Telemarketer
  • Virtual Assistant
  • Transcriptionist
  • News Reporter
  • Travel Agent
  • Tutor
  • Technical Support Analyst
  • Email Marketer
  • Content Moderator
  • Recruiter

The software also listed the traits that it would be replacing in these if replacing a data entry clerk the software would have the speed and accuracy necessary for the job.

Microsoft-backed company OpenAI has launched a new powerful AI model, ChatGPT successor GPT-4. The GPT-4 is more creative and collaborative. An artificial intelligence chatbot, ChatGPT (Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer) Plus subscription is now available in India.

The ChatGPT has been trained on a massive amount of text data from the internet, including books, articles, and web pages. Chatgpt can be used in a variety of applications, such as chatbots, virtual assistants, and automated customer service systems, to provide fast and efficient responses to user inquiries. The subscription plan of ChatGPT Plus will cost $20 (roughly Rs. 1,600) monthly to subscribe.
