Saraf Furniture announced 4-day work week on pilot basis

India’s solid wood furniture company, Saraf Furniture has announced its new 4-week work policy on pilot basis for the first 3 Months.

Saraf Furniture will be working on this pilot policy effective 1 January 2023 and additionally, the company will implement the policy throughout the organization if it is successful.

Raghunandan Saraf, Founder and CEO of Saraf Furniture says, “We are extremely happy and proud in presenting this news to everyone.”

“We have always prioritized our employee’s needs as they are the ones keeping our business ahead”, Raghunandan Saraf added.

Raghunandan Saraf further said, “Hopefully, this initiative will boost their morals and they will work more than their capacity. We are looking forward to implementing it.”

The policy will be implemented in Customer Care, Tech, and Product Management Teams. The main aim of the initiative is to promote a healthy Work-Life Balance for its employees. These teams have a total of 275 employees.

Additionally, the company currently has a total staff strength of over 1500 employees. The employees will be working on regular working hours on the 4 days and have an extended leave weekend for 3 days.

The vision of Saraf is to inspire its communities by leveraging on its three key values- “Principal”, “Passion” and “Perfection”- and to promote new value for its core networks — Industry, Partners, and Employees. The company has also provided period leaves to its women employees. Through these efforts, the company hopes to contribute to a better world and a richer experience for all.

The company is in talks about its expansion plans. It will be expanding its offline presence in major cities across the country.

It is currently operating with its offline stores in BANGALORE, HYDERABAD, DELHI NCR, SURAT, and RAJASTHAN. A manufacturer of Sheesham wood furniture, Saraf Furniture deals in a wide product range of home décor and furnishings. The company deals in major product categories including all kinds of furniture, lighting, accessories, and rugs and carpets.
