Capgemini, prominent global professional services and IT consulting firm, reveals intentions for substantial recruitment in India for FY25 starting from April 2024.

The company is showcasing confidence in the Indian market and dedication to leveraging the nation’s abundant skilled workforce.

Amidst a poised rebound in India’s IT sector post-global tech spending caution, Capgemini’s strategic hiring plans for FY25 align with macroeconomic uncertainties.

With 175,000 employees already, Capgemini emphasizes commitment to India’s talent pool, fostering growth and resilience in the IT sector.

What Roles Company Will Hire?

Capgemini’s hiring strategy for FY25 is set to encompass a diverse array of roles to meet the evolving demands of the knowledge economy.

While specific positions haven’t been outlined, there’s an anticipated surge in roles requiring skills such as; User Experience and User Interface (UI/UX)Data Science, and Cybersecurity.

The company places significant emphasis on upskilling initiatives, particularly in Data, Machine Learning, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and emerging fields like Prompt Engineering.

However, the company is hiring across locations in the country, but majorly for cities like Bengaluru, Noida, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune etc.

Capgemini in India has opted for a Hybrid Work Model and the French IT company asked employees to work in the office at least two days a week.
