Oracle has partnered with the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) to train 4 lakh students across the state.

The collaboration is designed to enhance employability by providing free access to Oracle’s MyLearn digital platform, offering structured learning in AI, cloud computing, data science, cybersecurity, and other emerging technologies.

This initiative aligns with Andhra Pradesh’s broader vision to become a national hub for innovation, green energy, and digital transformation.

The program will run until 2028, ensuring that students receive industry-relevant training and certifications to prepare them for the evolving job market.

Digital Learning Through Oracle MyLearn

Oracle’s MyLearn platform will serve as the primary training hub, offering 24/7 access to digital learning resources.

Students will be able to engage in over 300 hours of structured learning, covering:

  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Generative AI and AI services
  • Data Science and DevOps
  • Cybersecurity and blockchain technologies

The program will also provide foundational certifications, allowing students to validate their expertise and improve their job placement prospects.

Inclusivity and Workforce Development at Oracle

A key focus of the initiative is inclusivity, with special efforts to encourage participation from women and marginalized groups.

The program aims to equip students with future-ready skills, ensuring that diverse talent pools have access to high-quality digital education.

Additionally, APSSDC has signed an MoU with Schneider Electric to establish 20 advanced training centers across Andhra Pradesh.

These centers will focus on electronics, green energy, and sustainable construction, further expanding the state’s technical education infrastructure.

Government and Industry Perspectives

Minister for IT and Education Nara Lokesh emphasized that the partnership with Oracle is a step forward in empowering youth, helping Andhra Pradesh build a sustainable economy powered by skilled professionals.

Oracle’s regional leadership, including Mark K Taylor and Tapas Roy, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to developing India’s digital workforce.

APSSDC’s Managing Director and CEO, G Ganesh Kumar, stated that the initiative will strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s position as an IT knowledge hub, ensuring that students receive world-class training and certifications.
