Gaurav brings over 24 years of HR leadership experience across diverse industries including FMCG, pharmaceuticals, energy, manufacturing, and retail, and is widely recognized for his strategic acumen in organizational transformation, talent development, and culture building.
A Proven HR Leader with Global Experience
Before joining Simero Ceramic, Gaurav served as Global CHRO at Scion International LLC, a multinational cosmetics and fragrance company.
He led HR operations across the UAE, India, UK, USA, Germany, and France.
His responsibilities included overseeing global administration, employer branding, and strategic workforce planning for high-impact brands and private-label partnerships.
His earlier roles include:
- Vice President – HR CC & Administration at Cadila Pharmaceuticals, where he managed HR for over 10,000 employees and led major transformation initiatives, including M&A restructuring and change management
- CHRO & Group Head HR at Rasna International, overseeing HR, Admin, and CSR across multiple manufacturing units and regional offices in over 60 countries
- Senior HR positions at GHCL Limited, Mother Dairy, Suzlon Group, and Essar Oil Ltd, where he drove policy design, workforce scaling, and talent strategy in complex environments
Gaurav holds an MBA in HR from Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University.
He is known for his entrepreneurial mindset, execution excellence, and ability to align HR strategy with business goals.
