Amplifon, the global leader in hearing care retail, has appointed Sahar Khan as India Head of Human Resources.
With over 14 years of cross-industry HR experience, Sahar steps into a strategic leadership role aimed at strengthening Amplifon’s people operations, culture transformation, and organizational development across its India footprint.
Her appointment reflects Amplifon’s commitment to building a high-performance, people-first culture in one of its fastest-growing markets, as demand for hearing care solutions continues to rise amid increasing health awareness and demographic shifts.
A Career Built on HR Transformation and Business Alignment
Sahar’s professional journey spans diverse sectors including automotive, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, apparel retail, and NBFCs, giving her a well-rounded perspective on workforce dynamics.
Prior to joining Amplifon, she served at BMW Group India for over four years, most recently as Assistant General Manager – Human Resources, where she led strategic HR initiatives, succession planning, and compensation frameworks.
Her earlier roles include:
- Deputy General Manager – HR at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail (Pantaloons)
- Commercial HR Manager at McCain Foods, supporting national sales and corporate functions
- Manager – Sales HR at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, where she partnered with regional teams across India
- Internships with ITC Limited and Kimberly-Clark, laying the foundation for her HR career
Sahar holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD) and is an alumna of Miranda House, Delhi University.
