Dozee appoints Devaiah Somayanda as Head- Human Resources

Dozee, a contactless remote patient monitoring (RPM) solutions company has appointed Devaiah Somayanda as Head of Human Resources. Romit Shankar has joined as Head of Product. Amar Dani has been appointed as Head of Data Science, the company said in a statement.

The other hires in Dozee are in its Product, Marketing, innovations, and clinical research departments. These appointments come on the back of the company’s expansion drive to partner with 1000+ hospitals in both the public and private sectors in the next 12 months.

Devaiah has over 15 years of experience. Prior to joining Dozee, Devaiah Somayanda has worked with Sabka dentist (Total Dental Care Private Limited) as Head – Human Resources for more than 5 years. He has also worked with Karvy Private Wealth, Citi Bank India, and Kotak Securities.

Devaiah Somayanda has rich experience in Human Resources with Master in Business Administration (MBA) from ICFAI Business School with a specialization in Banking & Finance.

The company is looking to fill leadership positions across departments and hire 100+ across functions. It is also planning to visit 10+ campuses this year to bring in fresh talent.

“During the time when the market was tough and attrition was very common in 2020, we expanded 3x in terms of team size and followed the same trend in 2021 as well as maintained a low attrition rate of below 5% which shows the trust we have built with the employees,” said Mudit Dandwate, CEO and cofounder, Dozee.

“We will continue to build cutting edge research to make healthcare easier and more accessible,” He added.

The firm is also looking to hire for key leadership positions like head of finance, VP of technology, Head – MillionICU, and Head – Operations, among others.

Dozee has grown 3.5x over the past year and has been installed in over 7,000 beds in 300 hospitals covering 40 districts across India to monitor patients continuously and to help doctors and nurses enhance patient care and clinical outcomes.
