Salesforce to hire 2500 more people in India, Details here to apply

Salesforce, the global leader in Customer Relationship Management has announced to add 2,500 more employees to its workforce in India.

Chairperson and CEO Arundhati Bhattacharya said, “We are (Salesforce India’s headcount) at about 7,500 plus. We are expecting that we will end FY23, which for us ends in January of 2023. We expect to be in the range of 10,000.”

The hiring process at the company will increase its headcount in the country. The current employee strength is 7,500 and after the addition, the strength will be 10,000 by January next year.

“We will see more and more workforce returning to the workplaces”, on post-pandemic work culture, Arundhati Bhattacharya said.

“Because what we are also seeing is that if you don’t get them to come to the office and connect, then it becomes more and more difficult to create the DNA of an organization,” she said.

She also said that some degree of hybrid work is important. However, she also added by saying that multi-generational families are living at home and space constraints make it a bit difficult for many people to work from home (WFH).

At present Salesforce has offices in six Indian cities of Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Gurugram, and Jaipur. The company’s focus areas in India are banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), manufacturing, services, and social services.

Salesforce India plays a crucial role in the development of the company’s technology and products, and assists in the success of its customers as well as the growing developer community of more than 1 million Trailblazers.

According to IDC, the Salesforce Economy will provide over 548,400 new direct jobs in India from 2019 through 2024.
