Accenture has announced the elevation of Kate Clifford to the role of Global Chief Leadership & Human Resources Officer, succeeding Angela Beatty, who is stepping down after nearly a decade with the company.
The appointment comes at a pivotal moment as Accenture undergoes a sweeping organizational transformation to align with its AI-first strategy and integrated service delivery model.
Kate’s promotion is part of a broader leadership reshuffle set to take effect on September 1, 2025.
As part of this realignment, the company is consolidating its core services into a single business unit called Reinvention Services.

Succeeding Angela Beatty: A Legacy of Strategic HR Leadership
Kate takes over from Angela Beatty, who served as Global Chief Leadership & HR Officer since September 2024.
Angela joined Accenture in 2015 from Towers Watson and played a key role in shaping the company’s total rewards, talent, and change management strategies.
Her departure marks the end of a decade-long tenure during which she helped steer Accenture’s people agenda through periods of rapid growth and digital transformation.

Kate’s appointment comes at the same time as a major organizational shift at Accenture.
The company is restructuring its five core service lines—Strategy, Consulting, Song, Technology, and Operations—into a single integrated unit known as Reinvention Services.
This new model aims to deliver AI-embedded, cross-functional solutions at scale and speed.
As Global Chief Leadership & HR Officer, Kate will play a critical role in:
- Embedding AI into talent development and workforce planning
- Driving leadership capability across geographies
- Fostering a culture of agility, inclusion, and innovation
- Supporting the company’s reinvention agenda through people-first strategies
