Adani Enterprises Promotes Kautilya Desai as Chief People Officer

Adani Enterprises, a prominent conglomerate with diverse business interests, has elevated Kautilya Desai to Chief People Officer (CPO).

Prior to this, he has been working as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner since 2019 with Adani Group.

Responsibilities and Scope as CPO

In his new role, Kautilya will oversee corporate services for two critical business units within the Adani group: Adani Agri Fresh and Adani Oil & Gas.

As CPO, he will be responsible for driving talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development across these business verticals.

His mandate extends beyond traditional HR functions. Kautilya will play a key role in aligning people strategies with Adani’s overall business objectives.

Kautilya Desai joined Adani Enterprises in 2019, bringing with him over two decades of experience in various facets of Human Resources.

His journey within the company has been marked by dedication, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of employee well-being.

Prior to his elevation as CPO, Kautilya served as the Senior Human Resources Business Partner at the company. He played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s HR policies and practices.

Kautilya Desai: Experience and Expertise

Before joining Adani Enterprises, Kautilya Desai held key positions in other leading companies.

His tenure at Vodafone Idea, Vodafone, Reliance Communications, and Reliance Industries equipped him with a diverse skill set.

Kautilya’s experience spans business development, customer relationship management (CRM), recruiting, and vendor management.

His ability to navigate complex organizational landscapes and foster collaborative relationships makes him an ideal fit for the CPO role.

Kautilya is an alumnus of The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Over here he honed his skills and imbibed the values that continue to guide his professional journey.

His educational background, combined with practical experience, positions him well to lead Adani’s people-centric initiatives.
