ADM Appoints Prabha Karhana as GM – Human Resources

ADM, a global leader in nutrition and agricultural origination, has appointed Prabha Karhana as General Manager – Human Resources.

The appointment marks a strategic addition to ADM’s leadership team in India, as the company continues to expand its footprint across food processing, supply chain, and sustainability initiatives.

Prabha’s transition to ADM follows an extensive career in HR leadership across multinational corporations, with a strong focus on talent development, organizational effectiveness, and regional workforce strategy.

Career Journey and Professional Experience

Prior to joining ADM, Prabha Karhana served as HR Leader – Asia Pacific at Harley-Davidson, where she spent over a decade shaping regional HR policies, driving employee engagement, and supporting business transformation across emerging markets.

Her tenure at Harley-Davidson included roles such as:

  • Manager – Human Resources (Asia Pacific)
  • HR Business Partner – Regional HQ and Asia Emerging Markets
  • Human Resource Business Partner – India Retail Operations

Before Harley-Davidson, Prabha held HR roles at Honeywell International, Prysmian Group, Coca-Cola India, and HCL Infosystems, gaining cross-sector experience in manufacturing, consumer goods, and technology services.

Her career spans over 20 years, with a consistent focus on aligning HR strategy with business goals, managing cross-cultural teams, and implementing digital HR systems.

Educational Background

Prabha holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) from the Institute of Rural Management, with a specialization in Human Resource Management and Marketing.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Political Science, and History from the University of Rajasthan.

Her academic foundation has supported her work in policy formulation, leadership development, and organizational design across diverse industries.
