Aptech Reappoints Priyanka Karekar as VP – HR, CSR, CS & Dev

Priyanka Karekar’s Career Journey: From Talent Architect to Strategic Leader

Prior to rejoining Aptech, Priyanka served as Talent Acquisition Lead – Corporate, Operations & Supply Chain at DMart – Avenue Supermarts Ltd., where she led hiring for critical verticals and collaborated closely with leadership to build robust sourcing strategies for India’s dynamic retail landscape.

Her earlier stint at Aptech was marked by progressive leadership roles, including:

  • General Manager & Head of Talent Acquisition – spearheading workforce planning, diversity hiring, and metrics-based recruitment
  • Assistant Vice President – HR Operations & Employee Experience – overseeing end-to-end recruitment, engagement, and culture-building
  • Deputy Manager & Manager – HR – managing campus hiring, performance management, and CSR initiatives

She also held HR roles at MetLife and Sunrise HR, contributing to talent development and organizational growth.

Priyanka holds a PGDHRM in Human Resources from K.C. College of Management and completed a Management Development Program at IIM Kozhikode, reinforcing her credentials as a strategic HR leader.
