Bajaj Finserv gets Amit Sharma as Head- HR, Microfinance Business

Amit Sharma has re-joined the financial arm of the Bajaj Group Bajaj Finserv as Head HR – Microfinance Business. Earlier, he was associated with Bajaj Finserv from March 2016 to March 2018 as National Manager HR Business Partner.

However, most recently before Bajaj Finserv, he was working with Reliance Jio as Vice President- Human Resources.

On his appointment with the organization, he said on the social media platform, “Today marks the end of an incredible journey at Reliance Jio, and I am filled with gratitude for the enriching experience this chapter has brought into my professional life.”

“Working alongside an exceptionally intellectual group of individuals has been both inspiring and rewarding. I am confident that the bonds forged here will extend far beyond this juncture and stand the test of time”, he added.

He further said, “Reflecting on this period, I am proud of what we achieved together and am excited for the opportunities that lie ahead. As I bid farewell to Reliance Jio, I carry with me invaluable experiences and connections that have shaped not only my professional trajectory but also the essence of collaborative success.”

He joined the organization from Reliance Jio where he was Vice President Human Resources. In this role, he was responsible for spearheading the Talent Management Strategy for the Geography Operations, his scope of responsibility encompasses the entire lifecycle of talent development.

Amit is an astute & result-oriented professional with over 20 years of enriching experience working in diverse working environments like the Housing Finance Compan, NBFC, Telecom, Insurance, Media, Auto, Defence (Indian Army) & NGO sectors.

His earlier stints include working with Telenor India, Bharti Infratel Limited, ING Vysya Life Insurance, and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited.
