Birlasoft Appoints Priti Kataria as Chief Human Resources Officer

Birlasoft, a leading software as a service company, has announced the appointment of Priti Kataria as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective February 12, 2025.

The appointment of Priti Kataria follows the cessation of Arun Dinakar Rao, who served as Chief People Officer until February 11, 2025.

Arun has transitioned to a new role within the company, marking a smooth leadership change.

She aims to ensure that Birlasoft remains competitive in the global market.

Background and Expertise

Priti Kataria brings over 26 years of experience in the IT industry.

Her expertise includes a strong focus on global talent strategy, change management, and organizational transformation.

Prior to joining Birlasoft, Priti served as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Wipro Enterprise Futuring (WEF).

In her previous role, she led large-scale HR transformations, talent strategy, leadership development, and culture-building initiatives.

Priti is currently pursuing a PhD in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources from IIM Indore.

She holds a Master’s degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai.

Her extensive educational background and professional experience make her a valuable addition to Birlasoft’s leadership team.
