In a significant move that reflects its continued investment in leadership and talent development, Deloitte has appointed 42 new partners across its business lines.

It includes 39 internal promotions and 3 external incorporations.

This marks the highest number of professionals inducted into the firm’s partnership at the close of a fiscal year.

The announcement was made public on June 23, 2025.

Leaders and industry experts hail the announcement as a testament to Deloitte’s people-first strategy and evolving business model.

Deloitte Leadership Perspective: People at the Core of Success

Héctor Flórez, Chairman of Deloitte Spain, emphasized the strategic importance of the appointments.

He stated, “Our success depends on people. That is why we continue to be committed to transformational and human leadership, which seeks to generate a significant positive impact and places the development of talent at the centre of our strategy.”

This year’s cohort of partners reflects the firm’s diverse strengths across multiple business lines.

These include Tax & Legal, Audit & Assurance, Strategy, Risk & Transactions (SRT), and Technology & Transformation.

Breakdown by Business Lines

The newly appointed partners span a wide range of service areas:

  • Tax & Legal: Includes both internal promotions and external hires such as Rubén Chaparro and Marc Ferre, alongside long-serving professionals like Olga Fraga and Ángela Galán.
  • Audit & Assurance: Welcomes partners like Pedro Andrés, Antonio Barba, and Marta Graña, reinforcing Deloitte’s focus on audit quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Strategy, Risk & Transactions (SRT): Sees a robust intake with names like César Bengoechea, José Blanco, and Estefanía García de Dios, reflecting the growing demand for advisory services in a volatile global market.
  • Technology & Transformation: The largest cluster of new partners, including Nuria Acinas, Carlos Almajano, and Samuel de Tomás, highlighting Deloitte’s strategic pivot toward digital transformation and AI-led consulting.

Internal Growth: A Testament to Talent Development

One standout feature of this promotion cycle is the number of internal elevations. Deloitte promoted 39 out of the 42 new partners from within its own ranks.

This underscores the firm’s long-term commitment to nurturing internal talent, offering clear pathways for career progression and leadership development.

The appointments also reflect Deloitte’s cultural environment, which emphasizes mentorship, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Industry leaders view the firm’s ability to retain and elevate internal talent as a competitive advantage in professional services.
