HCLTech elevates Amrita Das as Head HR – APAC Growth Markets

A global technology company, HCLTech has announced the elevation of Amrita Das as Senior Vice President-HR & Head of HR – APAC Growth Markets. Most recently, she was working as Senior Vice President- Total Reward & Talent Management at HCLTech.

Amrita Das has confirmed the development on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of HR – APAC Growth markets at HCLTech!”

“Look forward to the new set of challenges & Growth opportunities”, She added.

Amrita has been associated with HCLTech for over 14 years. She has more than two decades of experience across several domains of Human Resources in a global context.

Amrita is experienced with the global fast-paced highly matrixed organization as a trusted advisor, coach, and HR partner.

She has executive leadership skills with a proven track record for identifying strategies focused on hiring retention and building a performance-driven culture. Her diversified experience and global exposure in managing large programs and change management.

Prior to HCLTech, Amrita was associated with Dilithium Networks as HR Manager. In this role, she was responsible for handling compensation and benefits practices for India development centre with overall responsibility of running all generalist HR functions for them.

Previously, Amrita worked with Sapient Corporation as Comp & ben specialist. In this role, she was responsible for Base pay integration in India & Europe which includes geo-specific Benchmarking, Salary range setting, in service guideline development like banding & promotion.

Amrita’s earlier stints include working with New Horizons India Limited as Asst Manager – Human Resources. In this role, she was responsible for manpower planning for the various interdepartmental and regions with the Departmental Heads. Further, her role involved in complete recruitment, selection, and orientation of technical and non-technical professionals within the country as well as for overseas projects. 

Amrita started her career working with STG International Limited as Executive HR. She joined here from campus and was primarily responsible for hiring.

Amrita is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Planning and Management. She holds her master’s of Business Administration (MBA), Human Resources Management, and General Management from IMI Belgium.
