Hinduja Group appoints Rahul Baunthiyal as Vice President HR

The Hinduja Group has appointed Mr. Rahul Baunthiyal as Vice President of HR. He will be based out of Hinduja House, Worli.

In this role, he will be responsible for strategic HR projects and initiatives for the Hinduja Group.

Rahul has confirmed the appointment on social media and said, “I’m happy to announce that I’m starting a new position as Vice President HR for the Hinduja Group. I am very excited to be a part of this exceptionally dynamic and empowering group and cannot wait to see where this new chapter of my career will take me. #leadership #hr #career


“I would like to thank EY for such a rewarding experience and the leadership team and friends there who helped me flourish in my role and taught me more than I ever thought possible. At the same time, I am excited to start this new chapter with the Hinduja Group”, he added.

He was previously associated with EY for close to a decade as Director – People Advisory Services and was managing the Middle East market for them. He has also worked with organizations like TCS and ICICI Bank across various roles in HR.

Rahul brings with him almost 15 years of rich industry and consulting experience across multiple HR domains. His experience is spread across diverse industries like Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Financial Services, Automotive, Telecom, Hospitality, IT/ITeS and Retail.

Over the span of his career, he has led multiple large-scale assignments in the area of Organization Transformation and Digitization, Organization Design, Manpower planning, Performance & Talent, Change Management, Total Rewards as well as HR Policies, Processes and Systems for organizations both within India and abroad. 

Rahul is a Mechanical Engineer and completed his MBA in HR from University Business School. He also holds Silver Badge Certifications from EY in the areas of Design Thinking, Transformative Leadership, SAP people and Green Belt certification from one of the largest Indian IT firms.
