Indian Oil appoints Rashmi Govil as Director – Human Resources

India’s flagship national oil company, Indian Oil Corp Limited appointed Rashmi Govil as Director – Human Resources.

Before being Director – HR, she worked as Executive Director -HRD & Employee Relations at Indian Oil Corp Limited.

Being elevated as Director (HR) underscores her outstanding contributions to IndianOil and her forward-thinking vision for shaping the future of Human Resources in the energy sector.

She is an HR professional, with three decades of experience. Her rich and varied experience has laid the foundation for her deep understanding of the nuances of the function including the entire gamut of HR with expertise in HR Strategy, L&D, Talent Management, Employee Relations, Digital Adoption, and HR Ops besides her recognition as an Industrial Relations expert.

She has fostered an inclusive work culture in a Fortune 500 integrated hydrocarbon major with a diverse workforce of over 30k across geographies.

Rashmi has led numerous high-impact change initiatives in the areas of Holistic Employee Well-being, Succession Management, Strategic Workforce Planning, Performance management, HRMS, Talent acquisition, R&R, and e-L&D for an unequivocal employee experience.
 
She is known for her result-focused, collaborative, and inclusive style and has formulated several strategic initiatives for the Company as well as the industry.

Rashmi holds her Master in Business Administration – MBA, Human Resource Management from Bundelkhand University (BU), Jhansi.
