JK Lakshmi Cement Appoints Anil Verma as Head of HR

JK Lakshmi Cement, a flagship company of the JK Organisation, has appointed Anil Verma as Head – Human Resources.

Anil brings with him nearly three decades of experience in human resource management, particularly within the manufacturing and infrastructure sectors.

His appointment is expected to bolster the company’s HR capabilities as it navigates a dynamic business environment and prepares for future growth.

Based at the company’s Sirohi facility in Rajasthan, Anil will lead HR strategy and operations across JK Lakshmi Cement’s pan-India footprint, aligning people practices with business goals and operational priorities.

A Career Built on Operational HR Excellence

Prior to joining JK Lakshmi Cement, Anil served as Cluster HR Head at Ambuja Cements, where he oversaw HR operations across multiple units in Maharashtra.

His responsibilities included performance management, employee engagement, industrial relations, and talent acquisition.

He also played a key role in long-term labor settlements and greenfield staffing projects.

Anil’s earlier stints include senior HR roles at UltraTech Cement, T V Sundram Iyengar & Sons, Methodex Systems, and Alpine Biotech.

His career trajectory reflects a strong foundation in plant-level HR operations, stakeholder management, and union relations—skills that are particularly relevant to JK Lakshmi Cement’s expansive manufacturing network.

Educational Background and Professional Credentials

Anil holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) in Labour Welfare & Personnel from the Indore School of Social Work and an MBA in Human Resources from Punjab Technical University.

His academic grounding complements his practical experience, enabling him to integrate HR strategy with business imperatives effectively.
