OPG Mobility Names Anand Amrit Raj as CHRO

OPG Mobility, formerly known as Okaya EV, has appointed Anand Amrit Raj as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Anand Amrit Raj brings with him over 24 years of diverse industry experience, making him a valuable addition to the OPG Mobility leadership team.

Anshul Gupta, Managing Director of OPG Mobility, welcomed Anand Amrit Raj to the leadership team. He highlighted the significance of Anand’s appointment.

He stated, “We are delighted to have Anand rejoin us at such a pivotal time in our company’s journey.

Anshul added, “His deep expertise in HR strategy and proven ability to lead diverse, high-performing teams across regions will be instrumental in supporting our continued growth.”

“He will play a crucial role in developing our people and talent strategy, ensuring we remain a market leader in empowering talent and delivering value,” he stated.

Role and Responsibilities at OPG Mobility

As the new CHRO of OPG Mobility, Anand Amrit Raj will lead the company’s comprehensive human resources strategy.

His responsibilities will encompass talent acquisition, employee development, compensation and benefits, diversity and inclusion, and organizational design.

Anand will play a crucial role in developing and executing HR initiatives. These initiatives will align with the company’s growth strategy and business objectives.

Commenting on his appointment, Anand expressed his enthusiasm for the new role.

Anand said, “I am passionate about creating, building, and inspiring organizations through people-focused strategies.”

He added, “Joining OPG Mobility as CHRO is an incredible opportunity. This is a pivotal time for the company as it redefines the electric vehicle industry with products designed for every Indian, all under a dynamic new brand image.”

CHRO Anand Amrit Raj’s Background and Experience

Anand Amrit Raj is a seasoned HR professional with over 24 years of experience across various industries.

His experience includes FMCG, FMCD, EMS, Infrastructure, IT/ITES, Automotive, HR Advisory, and Telecom.

He holds a postgraduate degree in Human Resource Management from Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi.

Throughout his career, Anand has held leadership roles at prominent organizations such as Wipro, HCL, Fiserv, Escorts, Okaya, SAR Group, PARAS Group, and Best Group.

At Best Group, he most recently served as Group CHRO (SVP-HR).

Anand’s expertise spans a wide range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee development, and compensation and benefits.

He is also experienced in diversity and inclusion, as well as organizational design.

He has a proven track record of building performance-driven cultures through goal setting and implementing various performance management systems (PMS).

These systems include OKR, BSC, PQCDSM, MBO/360-degree models, career development and progression programs, and the rapid scaling of startup organizations.
