Orient Technologies Ltd. Appoints Shrihari Bhat as CEO

Orient Technologies Ltd., an IT solutions and services provider specializing in innovative cloud and data management solutions for the enterprise sector in India, has announced the appointment of Shrihari Bhat as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The appointment, effective from January 1, 2025, was approved by the Board of Directors in November 2024.

Leadership Endorsement

Ajay Sawant, Chairman & Managing Director of Orient Technologies Ltd., expressed his confidence in Shrihari’s leadership.

He stated, “Shrihari is a highly accomplished business leader, and we are delighted to welcome him to our team.”

Ajay added, “He has demonstrated a strong track record in building high-performance teams and executing strategic growth initiatives.”

He mentioned, “He will be working closely with Umesh, Jayesh, Ujjwal, and me to foster innovation and ensure our company’s success.”

Speaking on his appointment, Shrihari Bhat expressed deep humility and gratitude to the Board of Directors at Orient Technologies Ltd. for entrusting him with this exceptional opportunity.

Srihari added, “As I step into this role, I am keenly aware of the responsibility and privilege that comes with leading a pioneering IT services organization.”

As the new CEO, Shrihari will spearhead technology transformation and business expansion at Orient Technologies.

Under his guidance, Orient Technologies aims to expand its service offerings, enhance customer value, and reinforce its commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.

Shrihari’s extensive international experience includes over 20 years of working in global markets, with a significant tenure in Singapore.

His expertise in cross-border operations and regulatory environments positions him well to lead Orient Technologies’ global expansion.

Shrihari has been instrumental in developing advanced solutions such as online fraud detection and secure transaction systems, showcasing his ability to drive technological innovation.

CEO Shrihari Bhat: A Proven Leader

Shrihari Bhat brings over 25 years of leadership experience to his new role at Orient Technologies.

He holds a degree in Engineering and a Master’s in Marketing Management. This strong academic foundation has propelled his professional achievements.

Before joining Orient Technologies, Shrihari served as Division Executive for International Markets at FIS.

During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s global footprint.

His career also includes senior leadership roles at NCR and FirstData (now Fiserv). In these positions, he contributed significantly to their growth and success.
