Schneider Electric Appoint Subhasis Mishra as VP – HR

Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, has appointed Subhasis Mishra as its Vice President – Human Resources (VP – HR), effective January 31, 2025.

Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Subhasis was associated with SVP India as Partner, Bengaluru Chapter.

Role and Responsibilities at Schneider Electric

In his new role as VP – HR at Schneider Electric, Subhasis will lead HR strategies for the company’s Global R&D and Digital organizations in India.

He will oversee initiatives that drive growth and innovation. Subhasis will be based out of Bengaluru.

He will work closely with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that support the company’s growth and innovation initiatives.

Subhasis expressed his excitement about joining Schneider Electric and shared his vision for the role in a LinkedIn post.

He emphasized his commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment and driving organizational development through strategic HR practices.

Subhasis Mishra’s Background

Subhasis Mishra comes with over two decades of experience in the HR field.

He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Human Resources from Xavier Institute of Management (XIM Bhubaneswar) and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology.

Subhasis’s career journey includes notable roles at several prestigious organizations.

He started his career at Prudential ICICI Asset Management Company as Manager-HR. He then held positions at Star TV and The Walt Disney Company.

At Disney, he held various roles, including Head HR-India, Head HR-India and South East Asia, and HR Leader-Global Distribution.

He also worked at Target and Amazon, where he served as Head of Talent Acquisition-Asia Pacific.
