Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, has announced the appointment of Damini Chaudhari as Vice President – Services for the Greater India Zone, effective October 1, 2025.
The appointment marks a significant leadership transition within the company, reinforcing its commitment to nurturing internal talent and sustaining strategic continuity across business domains.
Damini succeeds Ramesh Jha, who has been elevated to the global role of Senior Vice President for Global Services Strategy and Operations.
Ramesh played a pivotal role in driving Schneider Electric’s Services Transformation journey in India and will now contribute to the company’s broader transformation efforts at the global level.

Commenting on the transition, Damini, Zone President Greater India and MD & CEO of Schneider Electric India, praised both leaders for their contributions.
“Damini has demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic foresight during her time at Schneider Electric. From shaping our long-term strategy to driving transformative M&A, she has been at the center of some of our most defining initiatives in Greater India,” he said.
He added that Schneider Electric demonstrates the strength of its leadership pipeline through Damini’s appointment.

Damini’s Expanded Mandate Includes ESE MV Business
In her new role, Damini will lead the Services Business for the Greater India Zone. She will take full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility for the division.
She will also take on additional responsibility for the ESE MV Business, previously led by Ramesh.
Her mandate includes driving thought leadership and accelerating Schneider Electric’s transformation journey in alignment with the company’s growth ambitions.

Damini joined Schneider Electric in 2016 as Director of Corporate M&A. Over the years, she has held several strategic roles including Zone-wide Strategy, M&A, and CSR.
Her leadership has been instrumental in launching successful business transformation programs and shaping Schneider Electric’s future roadmap in India.
