ShareChat appoints Anurag Verma as Head- People & Culture

India’s leading social media platform that operates exclusively in Indian languages, ShareChat has appointed Anurag Verma as head of people & culture.

In this role, he will be responsible for the company’s people development, building culture, and driving organizational excellence.

Manohar Singh Charan, Chief Financial Officer, ShareChat said, “We are delighted to have Anurag join the ShareChat family.”

“His vast experience, people-first approach, and deep understanding of talent management and HR operations will help us hire and groom high-performing teams”, Manohar Singh Charan added.

Manohar Singh Charan further said, “We believe that Anurag’s leadership will help us further our people’s agenda and build a culture that would attract and retain best-in-class talent.”

With nearly three decades of experience, he has worked in start-ups & fast-paced organizations where he has played a critical role in building/transforming the organizations and scaling the people function.

Moreover, he has diverse experience in building culture, managing change, strategizing and building people function, organization design & development, talent management, and leadership hiring.

Prior to ShareChat, he was associated with Uniphore as Vice President of Human Resources. His earlier stints include working with Flipkart, India Telecom Infra Limited (ITIL), Airtel, Visisht Group, and BPL Limited.

Anurag holds his Master’s in Business Administration from UIM, Jabalpur, and completed his Bachelor of Science Govt. Science College.
