SML Limited appoints Sai Chandar as President & Group Head HR

The SML Group (formerly known as Sulphur Mills Ltd) has appointed Sai Chandar as President & Group Head – HR.

In this role, he will look forward to co-create the HR agenda and steering the Group to greater heights.

He confirmed the appointment on social media and said, “In my 30th year at work, delighted to join the SML Group (formerly known as Sulphur Mills Ltd) as the President & Group Head – HR.”

“The prestigious SML Group with its rich 50-year legacy is a global leader in innovative advanced solutions for Agriculture in the Nutrients, Soil Health, Crop Protection & Biologicals space with 500 + patents and presence in 80+ countries”, he added.

“Look fwd to co-create the  HR agenda & steer the Group to greater heights!!”, he further added.

Sai is Business Manager turned HR Leader with 3 decades of diverse Industry experience having led Transformations (Leadership, Cultural, Business, Digital) with a strong focus on People, Performance & Culture partnering businesses across market leaders in the Pharma, Agri, Mfg/ Engineering, FMCG, Automotive segments, diversified Conglomerates & Realty Group.

He has truly enjoyed managing multiple stakeholders, partnering Business, creating Business aligned HR Strategy/Roadmap with sharp execution to attract Talent, aligning them to perform, develop & engage talent, and finally rewarding & retain talent

His earlier stints include working with Kanakia Group, Mahindra Rise, Godfrey Phillips India Ltd, and Ranbaxy. He is a certified Leadership Facilitator, trained Ex.coach and an OD interventionist have facilitated Leadership engagement & helped Leaders to give their best & manage their teams well.
