Tata Play appoints Pramatesh V Kumar as Vice President- HR

Tata Play Ltd (formerly known as Tata Sky Limited) has elevated Pramatesh V Kumar as Vice President- Human Resources.

He has been associated with TATA Sky since 2006. Most recently Pramatesh was working as GM- Human Resources with Tata Sky.

He confirmed the appointment on LinkedIn and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Vice President- Human Resources at Tata Play Ltd!”

Pramatesh is a dynamic human resource professional with a rapidly progressive career span of over 23 years. He has gained exposure and cross-cultural experience in handling Talent Acquisition, HR operations, and HR Business Partnering in the DTH, insurance & retail industry.

Pramatesh has a solid track record in developing and implementing strategic plans for setting up HR operations and demonstrated abilities to provide strategic HR support to top management. He is an efficient team leader, possessing demonstrable leadership capabilities in managing complex business challenges.

His expertise includes working in formulating talent acquisition & retention strategies resulting in improved TAT and cost savings.

His earlier stints include working with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited and Pantaloon Retail India Ltd.

Pramatesh holds a Post-graduate Diploma in HR from Indian Institute of Social Welfare & Business Mgmt and completed his Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from Prafulla Chandra College.
