Tata Tele Business Services Appoints Mridul Chandra as CHRO

Tata Tele Business Services (TTBS) has announced the appointment of Mridul Chandra as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

With close to 30 years of experience in HR leadership, Mridul has played a pivotal role in shaping people strategies across leading global organizations, including Tata Communications, Colt Technology Services, EY, Wipro, and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL).

In his new role at TTBS, Mridul will drive a digital-first, people-centric culture, enhancing workplace innovation.

His efforts will ensure that the company’s HR framework supports its mission of enabling secure enterprise growth.

Mridul Chandra’s Professional Journey

CHRO Mridul Chandra’s career spans three decades, during which he has led HR transformation initiatives, diversity and inclusion (DEI) programs, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) integrations.

His previous roles include:

  • Tata Communications: Designed global HR strategies, aligning people practices with evolving business priorities.
  • Colt Technology Services: Led HR transformation efforts, focusing on organizational agility and talent management.
  • EY and Wipro: Managed leadership development programs, ensuring workforce readiness for future challenges.
  • Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL): Contributed to HR digitization and operational efficiency.

Mridul earned a postgraduate degree in Human Resource Management from Xavier Institute of Social Service, equipping him with specialized expertise in workforce strategies.

He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi, strengthening his analytical and problem-solving skills.
