Sumit, a seasoned HR professional with over two decades of experience, brings a wealth of expertise in HR strategy, digital transformation, and global operations.
Responsibilities at VOIS

His responsibilities include managing Centers of Expertise that focus on learning and development, HR business partnering, and talent acquisition services.
These centers play a crucial role in supporting Vodafone’s local markets and driving the company’s global HR strategy.
Sumit’s mandate also involves fostering a robust and world-class HR services environment.
He aims to advance the HR strategy for Vodafone Group by leveraging his extensive experience in digital transformation and inclusive people strategies.
Sumit Sabharwal’s Professional Journey
Sumit Sabharwal’s career spans more than 21 years, during which he has held various leadership roles in prominent organizations.
Before joining VOIS, he served as Vice President and Head of HR Shared Services for Fujitsu International Regions.
In this role, he led transformative HR operations across multiple geographies, supporting over 40,000 employees.
His tenure at Fujitsu, which lasted over 11 years, saw him excel in roles such as Senior Director of HR for Asia, India, and Costa Rica, as well as Global Head of Learning and Development.
Sumit’s professional journey also includes significant stints at Huawei, Dell Technologies, and Concentrix.
At Huawei, he served as Senior Manager of HR, while at Dell, he held strategic roles in talent engagement, learning and development, and HR business partnering.
His early career at Concentrix involved training and operations support roles, laying the foundation for his expertise in HR.
