WPP Media Appoints Rishi Kapoor as Head – Talent Acquisition

WPP Media, the global media collective of WPP, has announced the appointment of Rishi Kapoor as Head – Talent Acquisition & Resource Management – South Asia.

Rishi brings with him over two decades of experience in talent acquisition, staffing strategy, and workforce transformation across the ITES, IT, and digital consulting sectors.

His appointment is expected to play a pivotal role in future-proofing WPP Media’s workforce and enhancing its employer brand in the region.

A Career Spanning Global Talent Strategy and Workforce Innovation

Before joining WPP Media, Rishi Kapoor served as Vice President – APAC Talent Acquisition & Staffing at Material, a global digital transformation and consulting firm.

At Material, he led regional hiring strategies, focusing on attracting and retaining diverse, high-impact talent to drive innovation and client success.

His earlier career includes impactful stints at:

  • Publicis Sapient – where he spent over 12 years, rising from Senior Manager to Director – Talent Acquisition, overseeing large-scale hiring across India and global markets
  • Corbus – as Manager – Talent Acquisition & Development, leading recruitment, training, and vendor management
  • FCS, TechRoots Solutions, and GEO Connect – where he built foundational expertise in recruitment operations and people management

Rishi’s experience covers a wide range of hiring domains, including global, niche, leadership, campus, fluid, and DEI recruitment.

He also brings deep expertise in employer branding, cost optimization, and HR technology transformation.
