Accenture appoints Cognizant’s Mona Gupta as Managing Director in India

A global professional services company with leading capabilities in digital, cloud, and security Accenture has announced the appointment of Mona Gupta as Managing Director in India.

Mona has confirmed the development on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Managing Director at Accenture! Looking forward to an exciting new journey in my work-life!”

Mona has over two decades of experience in cross-functional leadership: including experience in Operations, Service Delivery, Process Transition & Management, Six Sigma, Compliance, and Team Management in the BFSI Vertical.

She has exposure to various onsite transitions & detailed diagnostic for Global Finance & Accounting ( AP & AR) and Insurance businesses.

Her expertise is in Operations and Team Management, Project Management – Prince 2 Practitioner, Six Sigma & LEAN – Green belt certified, Black Belt trained & tested Process Consulting, and Knowledge Management.

Prior to Accenture, Mona was associated with Cognizant as Senior Director – Global Portfolio Delivery Leader, Insurance Operations. She was responsible for managing and leading various large P&C carriers’ end-to-end processing work across LOBs and markets.

Previously, Mona was associated with HSBC. She was responsible for driving various quality initiatives in Global Finance Operations. Earlier, she was working with WNS, and Genpact.

Mona holds PGDBM in Finance from Institute of Management Technology, (IMT) Ghaziabad. She completed her bachelor of commerce from Delhi University.
