Avendus Group appoints Anirban Banerjee as CHRO

Avendus Group, a financial services provider, has announced the appointment of Anirban Banerjee as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective December 2021.

He comes with over 17 years of experience shaping talent in the wealth management and FMCG industry. Prior to this, Anirban was associated with IIFL Wealth and Asset Management in the capacity of Managing Partner and Head HR, and earlier, he worked for four years at ITC.

Gaurav Deepak, Co-founder, and CEO, Avendus Capital, said, “At Avendus, our people have always been our greatest asset. As the world and India move towards a significant change of trajectory in this decade, we believe it’s the energy and determination of the talent, coupled with a learning and innovative mindset, that would create successful institutions.”

Anirban holds a postgraduate diploma from XLRI, Jamshedpur. He is an alumnus of St. Stephen’s College, Delhi.
