DCM Shriram gets Cipla’s Sachin Kaistha as Sugar Business CHRO

DCM Shriram has appointed Sachin Kaistha as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for its Sugar Business. Sachin joins the company from Cipla, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise in the HR domain.

In his new role at DCM Shriram, Sachin will oversee HR functions of the Sugar Business. His focus will be on strategic HR initiatives, talent management, and fostering a positive work culture.

His appointment is expected to strengthen HR capabilities of the Sugar Business, aligning with DCM Shriram’s commitment to excellence and growth.

Vast Experience Across Multiple Sectors

With over two decades of experience in Human Resources, Sachin has worked across multiple sectors, including Pharmaceuticals, Automotive, Retail, and FMCG.

His extensive background encompasses Manufacturing HR, Sales HR, and Corporate functions, showcasing his versatility and deep understanding of diverse business environments.

Prior to his role at Cipla, Sachin held key HR positions at several renowned organizations. He worked with Eicher Polaris, Tata Motors, Future Group People Office, and SC Johnson, where he played pivotal roles in shaping and implementing HR strategies.

Sachin began his illustrious career with Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, where he gained foundational experience that propelled him into subsequent leadership roles.

Sachin’s strategic vision and extensive experience make him a valuable addition to the DCM Shriram team. His leadership is anticipated to bring new insights and innovations to the HR function, enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Sugar Business.

In the Sugar & Distillery segment, DCM Shriram produces over 0.65 million tonnes of sugar and approximately 180 million litres of ethanol annually, supporting the nation’s transition to greener fuels.
