Rahul Kapoor joins The Himalaya Drug Company as Chief People Officer

The Himalaya Drug Company appoints Rahul Kapoor as Chief People Officer, based out of UAE. In his new role, he will be leading the people & culture agenda globally.

Rahul comes with over two decades of experience working with Fortune 500 companies in Asian markets including India, Japan & Korea, and South East Asia. Prior to joining The Himalaya Drug Company, most recently he was working as VP-human resources with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories for almost one year, and he was leading the People & Culture agenda across 25 countries in Emerging Markets.

Earlier, Rahul was working with the GSK (GlaxoSmithKline) for more than 12 years. He joined GSK India in 2008 and after a successful stint, in July 2014, he became the HR Business Lead for Consumer Healthcare Asia.

At GSK Consumer Healthcare Ltd, he was associated as Executive Vice President HR, India Subcontinent and he was based out of Gurugram. He was a part of the ISC Leadership Team. Post the Novartis Joint Venture (JV), he was appointed HR Business Lead for southeast Asia & Japan/ Korea.

Previously, Rahul has worked with ITC, GE, and Larsen & Toubro Limited.

He holds a MPM in HR from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune.
