He spearheaded the people agenda during a time of massive industry disruption and played a key role as Airtel pivoted to a digital products company. Gautam helped establish the Product function, bringing in some of the best Product leaders globally to work alongside the best in class engineering and business leaders. He was instrumental in evolving the organization structure and skill needs to keep pace with the changing business requirement.
In addition to his deep understanding of the Telecom space, Gautam has deep expertise in coaching senior business leaders on managing change and developing high performing teams in dynamic industries.
Prior to Airtel, Gautam spent over a decade in the United States in cross-functional & cross-industry roles within the Financial Services and FMCG sectors, with best in class companies including Citibank, Heinz, and PwC.
Gautam is a graduate from SRCC, Delhi and has earned an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, USA.
