Godrej Capital appoints ex-Lenovo Bhavya Misra as CHRO

A subsidiary of Godrej Industries and the holding company for Godrej Housing Finance & Godrej Finance, Godrej Capital has appointed Bhavya Misra as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

On her appointment, the company said, “We are delighted to announce that Bhavya Misra has joined Godrej Capital as our new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).”

“With a varied experience across a gamut of HR domains and industries, Bhavya is poised to collaborate with Team GC to take the organization along the path of enabling everyone to grow to their fullest potential. Welcome Bhavya!”, the company added.

On her appointment, Bhavya Misra said, “Super excited to start this ride with Godrej Capital! A whole new world of learning, growing, and building a great place to succeed!”

“A delightful onboarding experience with Manish, Sumit, Vandana, Aditya and Nidhi! Looking fwd to creating some magic with Debashish, Amber, Anuja, and the amazing HR team”, she added.

Bhavya Misra is a people leader with over 15 years of rich experience in HR across Technology, FMCG, and Retail.

Prior to this, she was associated with Lenovo as Director & Head of HR- India. In this role, she was HR Head for Lenovo India and Asia Pacific HR Head for the Mobile Business Group (Motorola). Her earlier stints include working with PepsiCo and Bharti Retail.

Bhavya earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources from MDI, Gurgaon, and her Bachelor of Science from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi.
